ABOUT 

Jason Arel-Klein is a Jewish-American photographer based in Atlanta, Georgia, whose work explores identity, disillusionment, and inherited trauma. His photographs have been exhibited with Atlanta Photography Group, The Curated Fridge, and other regional venues, and published by Lenscratch and No-Type Magazine. In 2026, he was invited to join Alphabet Redacted, a curated exhibition showcasing queer photographers from the Atlanta metropolitan area. That same year, he received the Atlanta Center for Photography Virtual Portfolio Review Equity Scholarship. Arel-Klein participated in the Society for Photographic Education National Conference panel “Reflecting the Times: Image-Making and Education in the Shadow of Genocide” and presented work at the Georgia State University Undergraduate Research Conference. He is currently pursuing a BFA in Photography at the Ernest G. Welch School of Art & Design at Georgia State University.
